Scenic Asige lies where the plains meet the forest. Woodland, sea and lakes are always close by – with plenty to do and places to stay. Asige is in the heart of Halland, near the E6 motorway between Halmstad and Falkenberg, exit Slöinge.
The Drittel factory in Knobesholm
At Knobesholm, butter kegs (drittlar) were made right up until 1952. Come along on a tour of the old drittel factory.

Our play is based on the oldest and most widespread of the Viking-age sagas. It is performed on the very spot where it is said to have taken place, at the ancient monument Hagbards galge in the village of Asige. Come and experience a nerve-tingling drama that has stirred strong emotions for more than a thousand years!

In Asige stands Hagbards galge – one of the area’s best-known ancient monuments, tied to the legend of Hagbard and Signe. Burial grounds, legends and traces of prehistoric times are hidden throughout the countryside.
